The Purple Monkey, A Locally Sourced Gift and Craft Shop In Old Henderson

Frances Ginty and her partner, Donald Kauffeld are the proud new owners of The Purple Monkey, located on Water Street in the historical district of  downtown Henderson.

The Purple Monkey is a charming gift, clothing, and home décor shop that carries handmade items created by local Nevada artisans. 

Home décor items include original refurbished furniture, original paintings and drawings, repurposed pallet home accessories, decorative wreaths, bottle art and drinkware, mixed media wall art and more.

Original handmade jewelry from different artisans from contemporary to tribal and everything in between will satisfy different styles and tastes. 

Fiber arts include crochet headbands, caps, embroidered key fobs, headbands, cosmetic bags, vintage doily bags to just name a few.

Memory boxes, shadow boxes, handmade cards are great for family keepsakes and gifts. 

The shop also carries a women’s clothing line that complements a contemporary casual but sophisticated lifestyle. 
 
Many of the Las Vegas Crafters Guild members have their items showcased in The Purple Monkey. 

A great place to find a unique, original, handmade gifts.   The inventory changes constantly since artisans are continually creating new products and designs.

The Purple Monkey is located at 11 S. Water Street, Henderson, NV.  Phone (702) 558-4438.  Famous Fleming's Bakery is located in the same complex. 

It is open Monday-Saturday, 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
